The manufacturer of the product (i.e Sirdar or Anchor)
The name of the product (this could be the yarn name or the design name of a certain cross stitch chart/kit)
Is there a certain colour you require? If so, is there a name or number of this colour?
Where have you seen this item? (i.e in a magazine or previously in our shop or website)
How many of the item do you require? (remember knitting yarn and tapestry wool for example all have a dye number and it's best to ensure you get all the same dye number so the colours match)
If there is anything else you think would help us in locating the item you are looking for, please have this information handy too. Dont forget, it may seem obvious to you if a garment has been in a womens magazine but if we dont know it could take longer to work out what yarn you require. Most companies tell us which patterns they will be publishing in which magazines and when so by simply telling us which magazine it is, we should be able to find the answer.
Dont worry if you cant come up with all this information, we can generally get to the bottom of most queries and find out exactly what it is that you want, even when sometimes you dont know yourself!!
